Cromarty Fourways Club welcomes £250 boost

The over-60s Cromarty Fourways Club received a donation of £250 from Gunn Funeral Directors, handed over to Douglas Cooper, the longest-serving man in the club, and Iris Winton, longest-serving woman.
Both Douglas and Iris are Cromarty natives – born, educated and married in the Black Isle town.
Douglas and Iris have both been in the Cromarty Fourways Club for over 20 years.

Meanwhile in Cromarty, the Cromarty and Resolis Film Society have announced their first Cromarty Cinema schedule of 2024. The films on offer include new award-winning hits, and old favourites.
On Sunday January 14 at 3pm and on Tuesday January 16 at 7pm, One Life starring Anthony Hopkins will be screening.
Comedy biopic, Next Goal Wins, will be showing on Friday 19 at 7pm.
Golden Globe-winning new film from Hayao Miyazaki, The Boy and The Heron, will be screen on Sunday, January 21 at 3pm.
