Ewes (439) sold to £206 gross for a Texel cross from Drumancroy Farm, Portmahomack.

In Lamb Ewes (292) sold to £180 gross for a pen of Cheviot mules from Folly, Murkle.

Rams & Feeding Sheep (245) sold to £190 gross for a pair of Suffolks from Castle Grant Home Farm, Grantown on Spey.

The verdict from the mart: “Another phenomenal store sheep trade blitz the castle arena today despite a lot of small hoggs forward. Every class cashed in at a ferocious trade with vendors nearly fainting in dismay at the trade they were receiving. Ewes met a strong trade similar to that seen every Tuesday here in Dingwall.”

It was the 1 crop ewe scanned twins to the 45K Midlock who took the champion ticket.
