AN Easter Ross youth group that staged a series of activities and events during the summer has thanked funders and supporters for making it happen.
The Place in Alness paid tribute to supporters behind its outdoor events staged in a field identified during the coronavirus crisis as a safe place to stage youth activities.
The group posted: "The Place are delighted to have been a partner in Highland Council’s Summer of Hope - a Highland-wide programme of acitivities for our children and young people to enjoy.
"As schools will be returning after their seven-week summer holiday, we would just like to say a massive thank you to all our funders, volunteers, parents, youngsters, outside providers, and staff who made this year’s summer a year to remember.
"Our team put in so much work to ensure the best for our kids this summer and we are very proud of what we have been able to achieve. Whether it was canoeing, mountain biking, gorge-walking, play scheme, fun days, youth club, or drop-in, we hope we were able to offer something for every young person in our town."
And they pledged: "We will be back next summer! Until then, keep an eye on our page for any upcoming sessions, events, or changes to current times/days."
