Alness MSYP wishes “all the best of luck” and shares his advice as exams begin for high school pupils across Scotland today (April 22).

Alness Academy pupil Jamie Dickson was chosen as a Member of Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP) in March. He represents the voice of young people in the Caithness, Sutherland and Ross constituency.

With exam season for Scottish High School pupils kicking off, Jamie took to his TikTok page to share good luck to his constituents, as well as sharing some advice.

The TikTok video has now amassed nearly 50,000 views, and over 7000 likes at the time of writing.

Jamie said in his video: “I just wanted to pop on and wish everyone sitting exams in my constituency the best of luck.

“If you’re struggling, concerned or worried about sitting your exams, please speak to a member of staff in your school, a family member or a friend. They will be able to help you.

“There are also youth organisations plotted around the constituency that you can reach out to. Please speak out, and don’t let these feelings build up inside yourself, and I just wish you all the best of luck on your exams.”
