A9 road traffic incident 'restricting road both ways at Tain', warns Traffic Scotland

Motorists on the A9 have been warned to drive with care after a road traffic incident restricted the road in both directions.

UPDATE: Driver fined after two-vehicle smash on A9 near Tain

Traffic Scotland issued the warning at around 3.15pm, and advised drivers to expect delays when approaching the incident site at Tain.

A Traffic Scotland spokesman said: "The A9 at Tain is currently restricted in both directions due to a road traffic incident. Motorists are advised to approach with caution, and expect delays in the area."
