DELIGHTED models and audience members alike were all smiles when a charity fashion show organised by dynamic Black Isle fundraisers hit the catwalk on Friday evening.

Cancer survivors from the Highlands were amongst those who took to the catwalk to model a range of colourful clothes in front of a crowd of more than 200 people at the Leonardo Hotel in Millburn Road.

And the night, organised by the Black Isle branch of Cancer Research UK, raised more than £5000.

A spokeswoman for the branch said: "It went very well, very well indeed. There were about 200 people there. Everyone seemed to be very happy."

One attendee, Poppy Weatherall (8) of Strathpeffer also brought a cheque for an additional £1905 along, which she raised during a 10k event with her dad in memory of the gran she never got to meet.
