KAZEEM Olaigbe says Ross County can learn from their mistakes against Rangers and cause an upset against Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup in Dingwall tomorrow.

The Staggies will go into the last 16 clash with the Premiership champions after suffering a 4–0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.

Olaigbe, who is on loan from English Premiership club Southampton says he and his teammates took enough from Glasgow last weekend to know they can produce a performance capable of taking them to the quarter finals of the competition.

Looking back at last weekend, Olaigbe said: “I was expecting a tough game as we were up against good players.

“But we have learned a lot from playing against top players, we made mistakes but we can learn from them.

“We are now looking ahead to the next game against Celtic and what we showed against Rangers we will try and bring even more against Celtic and hopefully can win the game.”

Olaigbe says home advantage could play a big part in success for Ross County tomorrow night.

He is hoping for a big home support as Celtic are expected to bring a wall of noise to the away end.

“The support from our fans can also help us and push us to get a good scoreline and make it to the next round.”

Olaigbe (19) joined Ross County on a season long loan from Southampton in the summer.

He says there are differences between Scottish and English football.

But he feels that he is adapting well to the challenge of the Scottish Premiership and has already learned a lot from manager Malky Mackay.

“It is a different experience from playing at Southampton but I am getting used to it. They are two tough leagues,” says the Belgian.

“It is also great that I have also learned a lot of stuff from manager Malky Mackay so far.”
