WATCH: Tom Stoltman is Britain's Strongest man with world record deadlift

Two-time World's Strongest Man winner Tom Stoltman has won the title as the Britain's strongest man in Sheffield last night.

Internationally-acclaimed strongman brothers Tom and Luke Stoltman were both on the podium of Britain's Strongest Man 2024 with Tom achieving the top spot and Luke taking home the bronze medal for the competition.

With Tom setting a world record for the deadlift for reps event, lifting 400kg.

In a video the brothers documented their journey through the competition.

Runner-up on the night was Welshman Gavin "The Bull" Bilton.

In a post on his social media channels the Invergordon hero said it was great sharing the podium with his brother Luke Stoltman and Gavin and thanked his wife Sinead for being his "absolute rock" throughout the whole competition.

The event is part of the international programme of Strongman events and saw entrants battling over a variety of heavyweight challenges.

Tom has also just been confirmed among the participants to the World's Strongest Man competition which will take place in May 2024.
