Two-time winner Michael Binnie from Cornhill on Tweed with Claire Mole from Duns, failed to make it three Snowman Rally victories in a row, finishing in third place in 44:01 in a Mitsubishi Evo 9.

The finish of the race was delayed by two hours after accidents took place on the course.

It is the third time Armstrong has won the Snowman Rally, previously winning in 2010 and 2015.
