Steven Ferguson says that the signing of Iain Vigurs represents the type of player that the club needs going forward.

Ross County confirmed the signing of the 30-year-old midfielder on Wednesday as Vigurs returns for his second spell in Dingwall.

Last time Vigurs played in County’s blue, he was involved in their title winning bid that saw them promoted to the Scottish Premiership.

And his new co-manager says that Vigurs should become a key part of the Staggies’ bid to return to top flight football at the first time of asking.
