Two years on: Murrayfield magic when Ross Sutherland Rugby Club won National Bowl

Ali Kennedy says that winning the National Bowl at Murrayfield was a massive boost for Ross Sutherland.

Tuesday marked two years since the Stags triumphed over Wigtownshire at the national stadium on Silver Saturday, where a string of cup finals across the men’s and women’s game were played out in Edinburgh.

For Kennedy, then captain of the Invergordon outfit, it was a proud moment to lift a trophy at Murrayfield, with a team that also featured his two brothers, Murray and David.
