Ross County have today announced the release of English forward Inih Effiong.
This follows yesterday's departure of Chris Eagles, who left the club to "capitalise on new career opportunities."
Effiong joined the Staggies for an undisclosed fee in January on an 18 month contract.
But he only made three appearances, in the losses to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup, and to Motherwell and Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
Eagles was a free agent before moving to Dingwall in November last year, reuniting with his former Burnley and Bolton manager Owen Coyle north of the border.
The former Manchester United winger played in eight games for County, the last of which was on January 31 in the 4-2 loss against Aberdeen.
Eagles had struggled with a groin strain in recent months, taking him out of Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson's thinking when they took charge of the first team.
