Trio of home games to start Ross County's season

ROSS County welcome Morton to Dingwall on the first day of the new Irn Bru Division One season.

The league campaign, which starts on August 6, will see a new-look Staggies side – with six summer signings made already including Colin McMenamin, Grant Munro, Russell Duncan and Sam Morrow, aim to get off to a flying start.

County already have two home matches in cup competitions to start the competitive action – against Elgin City on July 23 in the Ramsdens Challenge Cup then Queens Park in the Scottish Communities League Cup seven days later.

Derek Adams’ team head to relegated SPL side Hamilton on August 13 before hosting Queen of the South on August 20. A trip to Falkirk rounds off August’s fixtures one week later.

Other dates for the diary include a Boxing Day visit to Falkirk and a January 2 meeting with Partick Thistle at Victoria Park.

County, who are going all out to land the title this term, complete the league season away to Queen of the South on May 5.
