Treble winning teen celebrates medal haul at Ross County

ROSS MUNRO is only a year into his senior football career – and already celebrating a silverware treble.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper could be forgiven for thinking this football malarkey is a stroll in the park.

While older team-mates toasted a famous Championship and Irn-Bru Cup double, the Ross County youth academy product could boast one better.

He and defender Tom Grivosti both starred in the young Staggies’ team’s North of Scotland Cup final triumph against Caley Thistle in October.

“I think I can count it as a treble,” the promising shot-stopper said. “That has topped off a really good year for me and the club. I can look back in years to come and be proud of that.”
