The full back was a fans favourite at the Caledonian Stadium and an aggressive defender who never took any nonsense.

Spent seven years at Inverness after arriving from Macclesfield Town in 2013 and was part of the Scottish Cup winning team in 2015.

He remained at the Caledonian Stadium for three seasons while they were in the Championship.

He arrived at Dingwall in July 2021 aged 34 on a one-year-deal under manager Stuart Kettlewell and performed well in the back to help keep Ross County in the Premiership as they finished in 10th place.

Retired from playing in 2022 and went into coaching as he is currently head of youth academy at Ross County.

Joe Chalmers (Moved to Ross County July 2019)

The midfielder was named as Inverness Caledonian Thistle's player of the year in the 2018/19 Championship campaign in a season where they reached the Scottish Cup semi final before a 3-0 defeat to Hearts.

His performances in midfield caught the attention of Ross County co-management duo Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson who felt he could make an impact in the top flight.

However, he failed to hold down a regular first team place with the Staggies in his one full season at the club which was cut short by Covid.

In September 2020, Chalmers went back to the Championship and signed for Ayr United.

In January 2022, he then moved to Dunfermline Athletic who despite being relegated from the Championship five months later, went on to win League One last season.

Coll Donaldson (Moved to Ross County January 2020)

The big central defender was an influential figure in the Inverness Caledonian Thistle back line when he arrived from Dundee United in 2017.

His performances won the attention of co-managers Kettlewell and Ferguson with the Staggies paying a transfer fee to bring him across the bridge.

However, he wasn't as successful in Dingwall than with Inverness as he failed to make an impact with the Staggies.

Was sent on loan to Dunfermline Athletic for the second half of the 2021/22 campaign before leaving to join League One outfit Falkirk in July 2022.

Iain Vigurs (Moved to Ross County in 2009 and 2018)
