JUNIORS at Tain served up a treat at a tournament staged as part of an Easter camp.

Coaching sessions run by John Waring, assisted by his wife Eveline and Adrian Allan, allowed the three participating age groups to get back into the swing ahead of Saturday training sessions beginning again.

The beginners played a number of games with the overall winner being Rory Skinner. Cora MacAngus was runner-up.

In the intermediate group, Marshall Morrison came out on top with Vaila Thompson runner-up. The doubles winners were Vaila Thompson and Jack Mackie with brother and sister Marshall and Abi Morrison runners-up.

The advanced group saw some very close matches. The junior singles winner was Marcus MacAuley, who just pipped Kyle Corbett. The doubles was between Alexander Campbell with Kyle Corbett and Lewis Mitchell with Marcus MacAuley. After a long battle, Lewis and Marcus came out winners.

Junior coaching sessions begin this Saturday. There are two sessions: 10-11am for children eight and under and 11am to noon for children nine and over. The cost per session for members is £2.50 and non-members £3.50.
