Tain bowlers Andrew Adamson and Duncan Adamson were crowned champions at the Morganti Open Pairs competition at Nairn Bowling Club.

The duo defeated Nairn bowlers Brian and Ruth McWilliam 14–5 in the final.

A record entry of 34 pairs from all over the Highlands took part.

Due to the number of entries, St Ninian Bowling Club hosted one of the first round sessions. The remainder of the competition was played at Nairn Bowling Club.
