Tain athlete looking to make the grade at university

TAIN athlete Constance Nankivell is looking to make the next step in her athletics career towards earning an international call up after winning the Golspie 10k women’s race last weekend before starting life at university.

The East Sutherland Athletics Club runner has moved to the University of Edinburgh and joined their athletics team where she is looking to progress his sporting career.

Hours before leaving home for the first time, she won the Golspie 10k beating her nearest female challenger by 26 seconds.

After an impressive start to her athletics career, she has started training with her new coaches and teammates at Edinburgh where she is looking forward to a new challenge.
