The Tain athlete has moved to Canada after competing for Edinburgh University where she was part of the team that won the National Cross Country Championship, the National Cross Country Relays and the National Short Course Championship.

Nankivell joined East Sutherland Athletics Club at the age of 11 and dominated the North Cross Country League for many years.

During the Summer, she turned her attention to the track, in order to improve her speed, and set numerous personal bests at all distances from 800 to 5000 metres.

In her athletics career, she won medals at the Scottish Schools' Cross Country Championship, Scottish National Track Championship, and the Scottish 5K Road Championship.

These outstanding performances led to Constance being selected for Scotland, for the SIAB Schools' International in Wales.
