Strathpeffer cyclist wins another medal at World Cycling Championship on the road in Dumfries

STRATHPEFFER para-cyclist Fin Graham has won a silver medal in the Men C3 Individual Time Trial at the World Cycling Championships.

The 23-year-old continued his medal haul by finishing in second place in the 17km race in Dumfries on Thursday morning.

Matthias Schindler of Germany won gold in a time of 22:50.67 with Graham +1.98 seconds behind in 22:52.65

Michael Sametz of Canada was a distant third finishing +35.20 behind the race winner in 23:25.87.

It is Graham's fifth medal of the Games, with his highlight winning gold in the Men's C3 Individual Pursuit title at the Sir Chris Hoy Veldodrome in Glasgow.

At the velodrome, he also won three silver medals in the C3 Scratch Race, Men C3 1km time trial and in the Omnium.
