Fin Graham will have the opportunity to defend his world titles in Scotland next month.

The 23-year-old's place has been confirmed in the British para-road and para-track squad for the 2023 UCI World Championships, which begin on August 3.

Events will take place across Scotland, but Graham's focus will be in Dumfries and Galloway – where the para-road races will be taking place – and Glasgow's Sit Chris Hoy Velodrome where the track events will be hosted.

Graham goes into the event with plenty of hardware to defend.

At the 2022 championships, he won gold in the road race outdoors, as well as the omnium, scratch race and individual pursuit on the track.

Those events took place in Canada and France, though, so coming back to compete at such a high level in Scotland is sure to provide extra motivation to the Strathpeffer native.

"So excited to have been selected for the World Championships," Graham wrote on social media.

"Going to be an amazing experience trying to defend some rainbow jerseys on home soil."
