Clash of styles as Stags travel to Garioch

John Mann is confident that Ross Sutherland will be able to contain Garioch tomorrow.

The Stags travel to Inverurie to take on a side that have scored fewer points than anyone else in the top six of the Caledonia North Two.

It was a low-scoring match when Garioch travelled to Invergordon, but they did inflict a 17-10 defeat on Ross Sutherland.

Ahead of tomorrow’s match, Mann says the clash of styles between the teams should work in the Stags’ favour if they can stay solid at the back.

“They play pretty boring rugby,” he said.

“It’s like a step back to the 2003 World Cup, where teams would just pick and go, pick and go and then kick the thing away."
