Ross Sutherland head coach John Mann is confident promotion is still achievable for his team despite getting off to a poor start.

The Stags have dropped to sixth position after suffering a heavy 41-22 defeat against North Police on Saturday.

They now lie 11 points behind league leaders Highland 2nd XV after four games where they have won one and drawn one from Caledonia North Two.

But with five homes games at Invergordon before the Christmas break, Mann is confident they can achieve positive results to surge up the table.
