Stags' associate year progressing well

Highland Stags are happy with how their associate year is progressing, with club secretary Steve Murdoch saying they have become a stronger unit.

The Stags face competition from sides across the UK to earn a spot in the British American Football Association (BAFA) national league.

Associate teams play matches against each other, allowing BAFA officials to assess the quality of their play, as well as their matchday operation.

Although the Stags lost their first associate game this year, Murdoch is feeling positive about their progress.
