Ross County have made their fourth loan signing of the January transfer window, with Derek Adams moving to bring in Cameron Borthwick-Jackson until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has most recently been playing in Poland's top flight with Śląsk Wrocław, but is best known for his time in England.

Coming through Manchester United's youth academy, he was named the club's under-21 player of the year in 2016 and was given an opportunity in the senior side at Old Trafford by Louis van Gaal.

In order to gain more first team experience, he would then spend time on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leeds United, Scunthorpe United, Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic.

He would then sign permanently for Oldham in 2020, and would also spent two years at Burton Albion before moving on to the continent.

A highly-rated prospect as a youngster, Borthwick-Jackson represented England at youth level between under-16s and under-20s.

However, he has found minutes hard to come by once again in Poland, making just two cameo appearances for Śląsk Wrocław – although he did claim an assist for their winner over LKS Lodz in early November.

Borthwick-Jackson is County's fourth new arrival of the month, following on from Eli King, George Wickens and Brandon Khela – who have each also joined the club on loan.

Adams has spoken of his desire to fill his quota of loan players, and is hoping to bring his tally to the maximum seven next week.
