Ross County will be going up against Championship opposition in the fourth round of this season's Scottish Cup.
The Staggies have been given a home draw against Partick Thistle – with the two sides having taken very different paths since both were relegated together from the Scottish Premiership in 2018.
County were able to return to the top flight at the first time of asking, while Partick struggled and dropped down another division before returning to the second tier.
They came back together in last season's Premiership play-off final though. In the first leg at Firhill, the Jags thought they had one foot in Scotland's highest division after a 2-0 win.
That optimism will only have increased when they scored again in the second leg in Dingwall to go 3-0 ahead on aggregate, only for County to stage the most unlikely of comebacks to level the scores and win the penalty shoot-out.
There will be no love lost between the sides, then, when they meet again in Dingwall on the weekend of Saturday, January 20.
