Declan McManus became the latest arrival in Dingwall as Ross County continue to freshen up their squad.

The former Aberdeen player had been at Dunfermline last season, winning their fans’ player of the year award as the Pars made it into the play-offs.

But now he has moved up north to Dingwall, he says that it was the club’s ambition that convinced him to move to the Highlands.

"It’s a club that’s been in the Premiership for six years, obviously they’ve come down to the Championship, but I think it’s clear to see that it’s a club that doesn’t want to stay there.
