Ross Tokely, Darren Christie, Lewis Smith and James Mackay are all available for selection for the clash in Tain Saturday.

Saints are on a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions, undefeated since November. But Orkney are also on good form and St Duthus manager Alan Geegan says it will be a tough test, but is confident they can make it into the semi finals of the tournament.

“It is always a tough game against Orkney, they are on a good run too and both of us are unbeaten since November, “ he said.

“We managed to stand up to the tests away to Golspie, Thurso and Halkirk.

“We will look to put in a performance to get a result.”

Geegan says he is particularly pleased with the form of striker Ben Bruce.

He says his goals will be vital to the success of the team this season.

“He is definitely flourishing again,” says Geegan.

“He is always critical of himself, but everyone in the league knows of the quality he has.

“With Ben, if he is not scoring, he feels he is not contributing.

“But in my point of view, he is head and shoulders above in the league and he could be playing at a level above.

“He is a big player for us when he is fit and will look to keep up the goods.”

Speaking about the win at Inverness, he said: “It wasn’t our best day at the office in terms of performance, but we got the result in the end.

“In the first half Inverness can feel hard done by, but we contained them quite well in the second half.”

Elsewhere in the North Caledonian Cup, Invergordon take on Halkirk United in the first round.

In the quarter finals, Golspie Sutherland welcome Loch Ness and Thurso face Nairn County A. In the league, Bonar Bridge face Inverness Athletic at Migdale.
