Ross County co-manager Steven Ferguson says he would like to have finished transfer business for the summer before the squad leaves for their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.

The Staggies have already made three signings this summer in Joe Chalmers, Ross Laidlaw and Blair Spittal, and have seen Scott Fox leave the club. Tom Grivosti and Billy Mckay on the other hand have signed new contracts to stay in Dingwall this week.

More moves are expected to be made as County prepare for life back in the Scottish Premiership.

In an ideal world Ferguson would like them done as quickly as possible, and he hopes to have finalised his group for the forthcoming campaign before they fly out to Holland at the start of next month.

“Getting Blair, Joe and Ross in has been good so far and we are looking to bring in a keeper and possibly one more,” he explained.

“We would love to have the squad in place before we go to Holland. If we can get as close to that as possible then it gives us a good start."
