Shinty clubs find out quarter final draw for MacTavish Cup

Lovat will face Kilmallie in the quarter finals of the MacTavish Cup after knocking out holders Kinlochshiel in the first round.
Beauly will travel to Skye in the last eight, with Fort William hosting the first round clash between Caberfeidh and Glenurquhart.
The tie of the round will see heavyweights Newtonmore face Kingussie with the quarter final ties being played on Saturday, April 16.
In the first round last weekend, Inverness pushed Premiership outfit Kilmallie all the way as they lost 3–2 at Caol in the MacTavish Cup first round.
The North One outfit were gifted the lead in the 17th minute when Stephen MacCallister scored an own goal.
Shane O’Rua equalised 60 seconds later for Kilmallie with Stuart Callison giving them the lead midway through the first half.
O’ Rua grabbed his second of the match 13 minutes into the second half to give Kilmallie a 3–1 lead.
Steven Bellshaw pulled one back 18 minutes from time, but Inverness weren’t able to find a leveller.
Lovat gained revenge on Kinlochshiel for the Camanachd Cup final defeat last season when they defeated them 3–0 at Balmacara to progress to the next round.
Lewis Tawse scored twice with Greg Matheson grabbing the third, 15 minutes from time.
Strathglass fell at the first hurdle as Fort William proved too strong in a 3–0 defeat.
Calum Shepherd, Ali MacRae and Lewis Morrison scored the goals to give Fort William a comfortable win.
Skye thrashed Glengarry 7–0 at Invergarry to progress to the next round.
Sorley MacDonald scored a hat-trick with Jordan Murchison finding the net twice along with John Gillies and Iain MacLellan also finding the net.
Newtonmore defeated Lochaber 3–0 in the other first round clash with Struan Ross scoring twice with Max Campbell also finding the net.
In the Premiership, Kingussie defeated Kyles Athletic 2–0 with Caberfeidh losing 5–1 at Oban Camanachd.
In the Strathdearn Cup preliminary round, Beauly thrashed Lochaber 8–2.
Kyle MacDonald scored a hat-trick with Finlay Maclennan finding the net twice along with Lee Dunbar, Jack MacDonald and Torrin Cairns also finding the net.
In the National Division, Inveraray beat Oban Celtic 3–0.
