SHINTY: Caberfeidh boss confirmed Scotland manager to face Ireland in international match

CABERFEIDH manager Garry Reid has been named in charge of the Scotland team to face Ireland in the shinty/hurling challenge next month.

The clash will take place at Páirc Esler, Newry on Saturday, October 21.

It is the first time the fixture will take place since 2019.

Reid has retained his role as Scotland manager and will select a squad to travel to Newry in the coming days.

He will do so in consultation with a number of managers across the sport.

The Scotland squad will be named on Monday, September 25 with a training session to take place at the start of October.
