Scotland call for Tain's Nankivell

Constance Nankivell has been called up to race for Scotland at the Celtic Cross Country event next month.

18-year-old Nankivell has been selected for the Scotland under-20 women's squad, following her appearance in the Liverpool leg of the British Athletics Cross Challenge and impressive performances throughout the year.

In Liverpool Nankivell ran under 16 minutes, finishing 21st out of 74 athletes in her category, but she has not yet set a target for Belfast.

"I'm not too sure, I haven't really thought about it," she said.

"I'm just going to go and run as always and just enjoy the race.
