Ross Sutherland want to move up a level

ROSS Sutherland head coach John Mann says the club are prioritising league promotion over the National Bowl but will still do everything they can to defend their trophy.

The Stags made history last season when they won the National Bowl for the first time with victory against Wigtownshire at Murrayfield in April.

They will start their defence against North Police in the first round at Invergordon on Saturday, August 25.

Mann defending the Bowl is something the club are taking seriously but says winning the league and promotion to Caledonia One is their main aim this season.
