Ross-shire teams discover opponents in shinty's biggest competition

KINLOCHSHIEL host Oban while Caberfeidh face the long road to Inveraray in the next round of shinty's most prestigious competition.

The draw for the second round of the 2017 Camanachd Cup competition was made in Inverness and resulted as follows;

Fort William /Oban Celtic v Newtonmore; Skye v Kingussie; Kinlochshiel v Oban Camanachd; Glenurquhart v Lovat; Inveraray v Caberfeidh; Kilmallie v Lochaber; Strathglass / Ballachulish v Kilmory; Kyles Athletic v Glasgow Mid Argyll.

Matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday, May 27.

The Camanachd Cup Final will take place at Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday, September 30.

The draw was made by Sandy Grant, director of sponsor Tulloch Homes and Carlie Milner who plays Penny and Lewis Griffiths who plays Johnny in Dirty Dancing, on now at Eden Court.
