Ross-shire rivals set to clash in final match

West will meet east in the Ross-shire derby as Kinlochshiel take on Caberfeidh in the final weekend of the 2018 Marine Harvest Premiership season.

Caberfeidh celebrated avoiding relegation last weekend in their first season in the top flight after Skye lost 4-3 to Oban Camanachd which condemned the island outfit to life in the National Division next year.

Meanwhile fourth placed Kinlochshiel will attempt to chase down second spot in the table by beating Cabers at Kirkton after failing to retain the league championship.

After drawing 1-1 with Kingussie last week, Kinlochshiel manager Johnston Gill says he will once again be looking to field a young side to get them prepared for the 2019 season.

"We played young players against Kingussie who did well," he said.
