Ross-shire athletes take on best in the UK

ROSS-shire athletes are competing in England after winning places in the Scotland squad for the 2018 School Games this weekend.

Dingwall Academy pupils Ruairidh Munro and Angus Davren, both 16-year-old

members of Inverness Harriers, will fly the flag for their country among the 1400 of the UK’s most-talented school age competitors.

While Alness Academy para-athlete Abbie McNally will be competing in the 100m and in the long jump.

Munro is aiming for success in the 400m hurdles this weekend.

While Davren will compete in the high jump section at the multi-sports event at Loughborough University.
