The Staggies' trip to West Lothian had been put in doubt after the inspection was announced yesterday in anticipation of dropping temperatures and potential snowfall overnight.

After a higher level of snow than expected, it has now been confirmed that Livingston's pitch is not playable, and the game has been postponed.

A new date will be confirmed for the match in due course.

County are not the only ones affected by the freezing conditions, as in rugby Ross Sutherland's scheduled top of the table clash against Kinloss Eagles in Invergordon has also been called off.
