Ross County have moved off the bottom of the Premiership after winning their first league match in 13 games beating Hibernian at Easter Road.

Goals from Harry Paton and Oli Shaw moved the Staggies above Hamilton Academical into 11th place by one point.

Paton played a neat one-two with Oli Shaw and fired a curling shot past goalkeeper Dillon Barnes to give Ross County the lead midway through the first half.

The Staggies doubled their advantage 15 minutes from time when Jermaine Hylton drove in to the box and laid it back to Shaw who taps home from close range.

Ross County face St Johnstone at the Global Energy Stadium on Saturday in their first game of 2021.
