MANAGER Malky Mackay believes Ross County can be more clinical in front of goal despite a good start to their Premiership campaign.
The Staggies go into the international break in fifth place in the Premiership after a 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday.
County have scored five goals from their four matches in the Premiership this season.
In the League Cup, Ross County have scored 17 goals in their five matches and have a quarter final against Aberdeen to look forward to.
Mackay is happy with the attacking options he has at his disposal, but feels they can be more ruthless in front of goal.
“I have spoken to Jordan White, Simon Murray, Eamonn Brophy and Alex Samuel and I have four forwards that I am looking at and I am happy with them.
“We have scored a lot of goals so far and Simon is on his eighth.
“But we have not been clinical enough.
“We had two great chances at Parkhead, a couple of great chances against St Johnstone and a terrific chance against Rangers.
“We’ll have a word on Monday to see what we can do better.”
