ROSS County blew a two-goal lead as they were forced to settle for a point against Hearts at Tynecastle.

After a goalless first half, Josh Sims broke the deadlock nine minutes after the break with a finish from close range to give Ross County the lead.

The Staggies doubled their advantage on the hour mark when Yan Dhanda scored a superb free-kick from 25-yards out.

Hearts pulled one back with 20 minutes remaining when Kenneth Vargas fired a low drive past Laidlaw.

The hosts equalised in the 78th minute when Lawrence Shankland fired a neat touch into the bottom corner.

Ross County play Aberdeen on Tuesday in their final game before the winter break.
