Ross County teenagers celebrate winning competition without conceding a goal

Ross County Under-16's celebrated winning the Inchyra Cup 2023 in Grangemouth.

In the group stages they won five games and drew 1 to top their group having conceded no goals.

In the group stages they defeated East Fife, Hibernian, Spartans and Houston.

They progressed through the Quarter Finals and then met Houston again the semi-final where they came out 4-0 winners.

In the final the team took on Central Girls in a tight fought affair with the match ending 0-0 after extra time.

The match went to penalties where Ross County emerged victorious with Amy Marshall saving the decisive penalty.

Coach Iain MacIver said: "It was a fantastic display from the team who conceded no goals all day and played 185 minutes of football emerging worthy winners."
