Ross County teenager Dylan Smith has been called up to the Scotland under-19 squad for the UEFA Under-19 European Championship Qualifiers.

The 17-year-old defender has been named in the squad which will face Bulgaria, Andorra and Serbia later this month, with all three matches taking place in Bulgaria.

Scotland open their qualification campaign against Bulgaria in Varna on Wednesday, November 15.

Three days later they face Andorra in Albena on Saturday, November 18.

Their final group match is against Serbia in Varna on Tuesday, November 21.

The top two teams in each group will join top seeds Portugal in the spring 2024 elite round along with the third-placed team with the best record against the top two in their section.

Hosts Northern Ireland qualify directly for the final tournament from 15 to 28 July, which will also act as UEFA's qualifier for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
