Ross County suffered a triple injury blow at Pittodrie as three players were taken off injured in the 1-1 draw against Aberdeen.

Goalscorer Regan Charles Cook along with midfielder David Cancola and defender Connor Randall were taken off injured as the Staggies wait to hear the severity of their knocks.

Charles-Cook gave Ross County the lead on the half hour mark but Christian Ramirez snatched a point for Aberdeen in the closing minutes to deny the Staggies their first league win of the season.

Ross County had a great chance early on to take the lead as Jordan White slipped a ball through the defence to find Ross Callachan whose shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

But after soaking up pressure from the Dons attack, Ross County broke the deadlock on the half hour mark, Blair Spittal’s cross from the left wing found Harry Paton’s shot which was blocked by goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

But Charles-Cook was the first to the rebound to fire home from 12 yards.

Aberdeen responded by almost equalising as Funso-King Ojo sent a ball through to Austin Samuels whose strike flashed inches past the left post.

Charles-Cook had a golden chance to make it 2-0 for Ross County. He ran onside to connect with Ross Callachan's pass with only goalkeeper to beat. But there was no power on his shot straight at Joe Lewis from 12 yards.

Goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw had a nervy moment early in the second half when he fumbled a long range effort from Matty Longstaff, but the ball was parried away for a corner.

Alex Iacovitti kept Ross County ahead with 15 minutes remaining when he nodded Lewis Ferguson's shot off the line after he powered Calvin Ramsay's cross towards goal.

But Aberdeen snatched an equaliser at the death when Christian Ramirez connected with a cross from close range to make it 1-1.
