The 26-year-old only moved to Dingwall last summer, signing a two-year contract with the Staggies after starring in the Championship for Partick Thistle.

However, despite making 23 appearances for County and scoring two goals, he will spend the rest of the campaign back in Scotland's second tier.

Turner has signed for Raith Rovers, who are top of the table – three points ahead of Dundee United, who do have a game in hand.

Ross County's statement read: "Everyone at the club wishes Kyle all the best in his loan move."
