Ross County sign goalkeeper Jake Eastwood from Sheffield United

Goalkeeper Jake Eastwood has joined Ross County on a season-long loan from English Championship side Sheffield United.

The 25-year-old was with the Staggies during their pre-season camp in Verona.

Joining Sheffield United’s academy at 10 years-old, he through the ranks at Brammall Lane in his 15 years with the club.

On signing Eastwood, manager Malky Mackay said: “Jake is a goalkeeper that has tested himself at across different leagues during his career so far and has worked with some really good goalkeepers and coaches.”

“We are delighted he has joined us for the current campaign, and I would like to thank Sheffield United for seeing Ross County as the place where Jake can really challenge himself this season.”
