Ross County stay out of the Premiership relegation zone after coming from behind twice to earn a point at Kilmarnock.

The hosts took the lead after just two minutes after Aaron MacGowan's cross from the left wing was cleared out of the box only to land to Chris Burke who volleyed the ball from the edge of the box past Ross Laidlaw.

But Ross County equalised immediately when a cross into the box found Jordan White who nodded the ball to Michael Gardyne who fired the ball past goalkeeper Colin Doyle from 10 yards out.

But Killie regained the lead in the 16th minute when a free kick into the box found Mitch Pinnock who held off Keith Watson and twirled in the box before firing a low drive past Laidlaw.

Ross County could have levelled again just before half time after a neat passage of play saw White link up with Gardyne again sending a ball through to him 12 from goal but he shot inches wide of the right post.

But after a dominant start to the second half, Ross County did equalise as Alex Iacovitti was the first to Iain Vigurs corner to nod into the net close range at the left post.

Gardyne had a great chance to give County the lead when he was unchallenged to meet Harry Paton’s cross in the box but fired wide of the left post. White almost won the game late on when in a counter attack he broke free of the Kilmarnock defence but shot straight at Doyle.

Ross Laidlaw then saved a point for Ross County in injury time when he produced a stunning save to deny Burke a winner.

Ross County remain in 10th, one point ahead of Kilmarnock in 11th and three ahead of Hamilton who lost 1–0 at home to Dundee United.
