ROSS County chairman Roy MacGregor says they are grateful for the opportunity to welcome back fans to the Global Energy Stadium for tonight’s Premiership match against Livingston.

The Staggies are allowed 300 supporters into the ground to watch the game due to the Highland Council region being in a level one area.

The go-ahead was announced on Wednesday evening, hours after manager Stuart Kettlewell said at a press conference the club thought it was unlikely they would be allowed supporters.

MacGregor (below) is thankful for the decision to let fans in.

“At a difficult time for everyone involved in the game, we are delighted that the SPFL, the Scottish FA and the Scottish Government have worked together to allow the return of fans,” he said.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome a small number of our supporters back to the Global Energy Stadium.”
