The Dingwall-based club looks set for another sellout when it hosts bitter local rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup

THE draw for the next round of the Scottish Cup has sensationally paired the two Highland clubs for what promises to be a cracker.

The fourth round draw for one of Scottish football's most eagerly sought prizes will see Ropss County host Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the beginning of December.

While the 32 teams in the draw included all of the big hitters, the Highland derby is arguably the pick of the bunch, promising a sizzling atmosphere in Dingwall.

The other derby of the draw pairs up Edinburgh rivals Hibs and Hearts while Elgin City have scored a trip to Ibrox to face Rangers and Aberdeen host Motherwell.

The other half of the Old Firm, Celtic, will also host minnows - either Inverrurie Loco or Arbroath.

For Ross County, it will be an opportunity to grab back the local bragging rights after the two Highland clubs clashed for the first time last month in the top flight.

On that occasion, Inverness Caledonian Thistle run out comfortable 3-1 winners, despite a spirited second half comeback by the Staggies.

The mouth-watering prospect of hosting Inverness on home ground is expected to spark another sellout at the Global Energy Stadium.

Ties will be played on December 1/2.

Ross County will then host their Highland rivals a month later on league duty in a January 2, 2013 clash.
