ROSS County have been handed a favourable draw in the Betfred Cup group stages.
The Staggies will face Arbroath, Elgin City, Montrose and Stirling Albion in Group D of the draw.
Caley Thistle have been handed a tougher draw as they will be in Group A with Hearts, Raith Rovers, East Fife and Cowdenbeath.
Highland League champions Brora Rangers are in Group B with Hibernian, Dundee, Cove Rangers and Forfar Athletic.
The eight group winners along with the four best runners-up will qualify for the Last 16 with Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell and Aberdeen who have received a bye after they qualified for European competition.
