AN extra 200 tickets have been released for what was described today as one of the biggest occasions in Ross County FC's history.

The Dingwall club make the short trip across the Kessock Bridge to Inverness for a Friday night showdown with plenty of added spice.

The historic clash will see Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County meet in the top flight of Scottish football for the first time.

Tantalisingly, the two Highland teams go into the fixture with an identical points tally, giving extra significance over and above the first claim on local bragging rights.

With just three days to go until derby day, Ross County have announced that Staggies supporters still have the chance to snap up tickets for what has been desribed as "one of the biggest occasions in the club’s history".

Following a final release from Inverness Caledonian Thistle, there are around 200 tickets for the South Stand on sale from the Dingwall club.

These can be bought online at www.rosscountyfootballclub.co.uk or during normal office hours either in person at the stadium or by telephoning 01349 860860.

There are also still seats available on the Black Isle Supporters Bus to the match which will leave the Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall at 6:30 and head directly to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium for the match.

Return tickets are priced at £4 available via the same methods as match tickets – online, in person or over the phone.

Ross County have plenty of incentive to make their mark after two successive SPL defeats - which came after a record-breaking 40-match unbeaten run in league football.
